The rain has been coming down in buckets for the last couple of days. We also have a high wind warning until 10 ‘clock tonight. I love wind storms, but, with our current living situation, wind storms mean tarp issues. Oh well. We always figure it out. We will be fine. I think I am going to try to just enjoy the wind storm and worry about the tarps when all is said and done, unless there are any tarp issues that really must be taken care of immediately.
I had a new book come yesterday. I had stumbled across a few days ago while looking at other things. It was like an ad or perhaps it was a recommendation on Amazon based on my other purchases…I really don’t remember. Anyway, the second I saw it, I was drawn to it. I wanted it. I felt it was important for me to read it. Of course, before ordering it, I checked on the library website to see if they had it in an audiobook format. They don’t. Amazon doesn’t carry it in audiobook format, either.
The book was realitively cheap on Amazon ($11.09), so I ordered it. The book is called Unapologetically You: Reflections on Life and the Human Experience by Dr. Steve Maraboli. I have no idea what the book is actually about, as I haven’t even read the synopisis for it. I just knew I had to have the book.
The book is in non-digital format, so I will have to shuffle this into the mix with the other two books I am reading. No biggie. It will find its spot. Since we finished the common area cleaning at the condo complex yesterday, I have today off and, with the weather being so wonderful, I think I will spend the day reading, with this book being the one I shall start with. I’m looking forward to learning what it has to say. If anyone is interested, Steve Maraboli has a Facebook page, which you can get to by clicking Steve Maraboli above.
Ok. I have to talk about it. I’ve been trying to just ingore it, but I’m frustrated with it so, here it goes.
WordPress needs to stop messing with the set-up on here. So many changes that, so far, I can’t say have brought any improvement or flow. Where did the spell check go? Who would not want that? I’m a fairly good speller so I guess its not that big of a deal, but I like being able to double check things, just to make sure. Again, why would WordPress find that spell checking something you’ve WRITTEN for public display would be something you wouldn’t want? Someone dropped the obvious ball on this one.
Also, I have to move the whole page to the top to get to some of the formatting features, like adding a link. So not convenient, not easier, not optimal, in my opinion. Am I alone in this thought?
Ok. That’s my rant on that. I’m sorry but it needed to be said, I think. I’m going to go start reading. Have a great day, Everyone!!
