I stayed home, yesterday. I was feeling really crappy, trying to talk myself into getting up and going, when my nose started to bleed. The nose bleed lasted for about 10 minutes. It was during this nose bleed that I decided that maybe it would be a good idea to stay home and get some rest. I rearranged my schedule and stayed home.
It was a Netflix and napping day, heavy on the napping part. I slept so much yesterday that I was worried I wouldn’t be able to sleep last night. That was wasted worry. I shut the lights off at 11 and Achilles woke me up at 8.
Since I had been worried about falling asleep, I ended up trying something new (to me). You know the maker of all those great for you powder packs that you mix in water for things like immune boosters or vitamin C boosters called Emergen-c? Well they came out with a new one, Emergen-Zzzzz, and I’ll have you know it works wonderfully. About half an hour after drinking this, sleep was the only thing going to happen for me. The best part? No sluggishness this morning. It contains Melatonin, vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, and some other great stuff.
Today, I don’t feel as horrible, though my back is not my friend today. It keeps wanting to seize up, but it feels like the muscles, not the spine, which I think is a good thing, or at least it sounds like that is better than it being my spine. Anyway, I took a couple of ibuprofen when I got home about 15 minutes ago. That should help with that.
The dogs and I are doing well with our morning walk. We actually made it to the field this morning without any big corrections needed. The closer we got to home, though, the more Achilles wanted to try to be out in front, and Enzo, who is behind me most of the time, started to join him. I guess this is all just part of them getting used to the change of things from Lance to me. They are doing really well and I’m proud of them. I’m not taking them for the walk this afternoon, though, since it is just down pouring. I don’t think any of us need to get soaked to the bone. I’ll throw the ball for them tonight.
Well, I think I am going to go try to take a nap before dinner. I’m not 100%, yet. I’d settle for feeling 90%, but I’m not quite there, either. I have my clean up north, tomorrow. I usually leave really early for that, but I have my chiropractic appointment at 9 so its going to be a late start, which is a bummer, but what can I do? It is what it is. I just have to make it work.
Have a great evening, Everyone!!
