I am feeling very emotionally raw this morning. Nothing has happened to trigger it, that I can think of. It happens like that sometimes. I will need to be gentle with my self today and let my husband know this is where I’m at today.
When Lance got home from walking the dogs yesterday morning, he informed me that his phone would not to our carrier. He could connect to our Wi-Fi and get around, but that was it. I powered down his phone for a bit, then powered it back on to see if that fixed the problem. It didn’t. I went into settings to see if I could manually get the phone to connect to our carrier. Nope.
We headed to our mobile carrier to see if they could resolve the issue. Unfortunately, they couldn’t. What is worse is that we had never put insurance on the phone, mostly because we never use it and it seemed like a waste of money. This left us with the options of either having Lance go without a phone until we could get him one that he liked, or getting a technologically crappy cheap phone. We bought the cheap phone: a ZTE Obsidian. I had to pull money out of the tiny savings I have started to get the phone. I wasn’t happy about needing to do that but at least that was an option.
Lance made a call to the guy we clean the house of once a month up north to see if he had any work we could do. I was waiting until after this call to throw out some work feelers of my own. The guy was almost excited that Lance had called. He said he has tons of work we can do, so we are headed up north today since the calendar is wide open at this point. From what Lance was told, it sounds like we could head up there every day and do some work. Perfect and whew.
Lance is probably going to be going up there more than I am. Most of what the guy wants to get done is more Lance stuff than me. That will be good for him, give him a way of bringing money into the household on his own instead of helping me with my work. I know how hard it is for him to not have his own income. I would feel the same way.
Anyway, I had better get going. Chiropractor/massage appointment this morning then the drive up north. Have a great day, Everyone!!
