I am grateful this morning that I have a tablet. I have no idea why, but my laptop won’t go anywhere on the internet. To make it more frustrating, this began yesterday when I tried to go to Craigslist to start looking for vehicles. I have my laptop doing maintenance, now. My fingers are crossed.
No vehicle, yet. It would help if we actually had gotten to look at more than one vehicle. This whole process on Craigslist has become something that is beyond frustrating. Tiny used car dealerships now advertise vehicles they have as if they were a private party (by owner only). They even respond to you through text or email like a non-dealership. Then you show up at the address they gave you to find a dealership.
I have had issues with the whole flagging thing on Craigslist in the past. Craigslist flaggers can be a bit over zealous, to the point of being beyond obnoxious. Yesterday, I became a flagger. Every vehicle that we went to go look at that ended up being a dealership, I flagged the ad. There were only two, but seeing as we only heard from 4 people, that’s a lot.
I ended up renting a car, yesterday. This adds to the angst today, though. I am supposed to return the vehicle by noon today. Seeing car shopping yesterday went so stellar, I am concerned I won’t find a vehicle by then. This is one of those times I wish I was done fixing my credit so I could just go to a real dealership, pick out the best vehicle to fit the needs, and purchase it.
Well, its 7am here, so I need to hop on Craigslist and begin this whole crappy process, again. Wish me luck!
