A couple of weeks ago, I posted some pictures of flowers from the field I’ve affectionately dubbed The Field of Serenity. One of the photos was of a flower I don’t know the name of but call a No-Pick-Em.
Well, they are in their seed cycle, which means giant blows!!
I really wanted to get a picture of the seeds in flight, but try as I did, I couldn’t quite accomplish this on my own. No worries, though. My wonderful husband stepped in to be my trusted assistant.
These “blows” were really neat to investigate, too. There was so much detail visible because of their size.
Another thing that is quickly making these flowers a favorite is that even though these blooms had cycled on, new ones are beginning to open. They really are a fun flower to watch. Maybe someone knows what they are called and could enlighten me?
