Magic is afoot…

Have you ever woken up in the morning with that feeling that things were just going to be great that day? Like there was some “force” that was guiding the day and it would be a day like no other? One you would remember? One that rejuvenates, heals, empowers?

This morning, I made my latte, stepped out on to the deck, plopped my tush in my morning coffee chair, and was immediately washed over with the feeling that today is charmed. How? I couldn’t tell you, but I can’t wait to see what magic is stirring in the world today.

The morning walk with the dogs (almost 2 hours. I’m telling you. I’m feeling the “force” is with me today) was…filled with serenity.

Achilles and Truman

Achilles (left) and Truman

Truman and Achilles did a great job.The latest leash set up for walking allows the dogs more leash, so they are learning loose leash at a different level.

They have more than enough leash, now, to be out in front of me. They have to pay attention a little more to where they are and remember beside me or behind me is where I want them. Other than a few gentle, two finger leash corrections, the boys did it perfectly.

The sky was overcast early this morning, looking a lot like it could rain for the whole day. Now, the sun is making its way out of the bed covers. Its still a bit chilly (57 degrees currently), but I think we will be able to still go out and paint curb numbers this afternoon. NOAA says differently, but the weather in the Pacific NorthWest tends to have a mind of its own. Forecasts are best applied as a guide of a possibility, no matter what percentage NOAA (or any other weather service) says.

So, yeah. Its going to be a great day, one way or the other, so make your wishes, buy your lottery tickets, start that something new you’ve been putting off for just the right time…Now is that time and you are the person you have been waiting for. Now, go out and make some magic!!
